Bitsight is committed to using AI responsibly and securely to enhance our services. Our primary goal is to improve your experience and the effectiveness of our solutions while strictly maintaining data privacy and control.

Inputs and Outputs are not available to other customers.

If you are a party to our Subscription Agreement Terms of Service, subject to the terms contained therein, Bitsight assumes obligation to defend and indemnify you against a legal action brought by a third-party to the extent such legal action is based upon a claim that the Bitsight Services or any part thereof infringe any intellectual property rights of a third party. 

When our AI capabilities operate without processing any customer confidential information (i.e., information you provide to us for use of our products and services), AI features are enabled by default. This allows us to offer advanced functionalities that improve your experience without compromising privacy. Opting out of these features may not be an option in these specific scenarios.

When Bitsight's AI Features need to access your customer confidential information, we follow an opt-out policy. This means these AI Features are automatically enabled by default, unless specific laws or your existing customer agreements require us to get your explicit consent (opt-in). If you wish to opt out in these situations, you will find an easy option within your Bitsight portal (under your settings), along with clear explanations of any associated trade-offs.

Yes. We understand the importance of your data privacy and control and where Bitsight uses AI functionality within our products that involves your confidential information. Where your Confidential Information may be processed by AI Features, you have the right to not enter that information or request the removal of such data that was processed using that AI functionality. This allows you to manage your information according to your preferences and compliance requirements.

Transparency is a core principle of our AI data management strategy. We maintain a detailed inventory of where AI is utilized across our solutions, including the types of data consumed by AI and the specific purposes for which it is used.

No. Bitsight may use customer Inputs and Outputs generated from those Inputs within our AI functionality to improve our own internal AI models (e.g. where you provide suggestions or feedback), but we do not use your data to train underlying AI models. We also strictly prohibit any third party, including our service providers (e.g., Google Vertex), from using your customer information for training, fine-tuning, or improving any third-party AI models or services.

Bitsight takes the security of your data very seriously. We ensure all sub-processors adhere to our stringent data protection standards. Our internal AI Council reviews any use cases of AI where such sub-processor will be processing Customer Confidential Information on behalf of Bitsight to confirm compliance, ensure our data and your data are not used to train underlying vendor AI models, and verify that principles of transparency and explainability are maintained where your data is processed. All data processed by the AI systems we implement is protected using industry-leading security measures. We continuously monitor and enhance our data protection practices to safeguard your information against unauthorized access, breaches, and other risks.
